Mental Health in the workplace

What is Mental Health?

In a nutshell, this is about how we think, feel and act.

Let's check some stats

The HSE has recently published their annual report relating to ill health stats for 2022/23

Nearly 1.8 million people reported work based illness in 2022/23, with approximately half suffering from stress, anxiety or depression. This equates to about 875,000 people.

An estimated 35.2 million working days were lost in 2022/23 due to work related ill health or injury.

Deloitte UK released a report in 2020 which showed the £45 billion costs to employers for poor mental health.
